Search multiple Rapidshare search engines with a single Firefox keyword
1. Create a new bookmark in Firefox
2. Cut and paste the following javascript in the Location field
3. Assign a keyword to the bookmark, something like rapid or rapidshare
4. In the address bar type your keyword followed by the search terms (Eg: rapid ebook ) and press enter, hit the go button. The search engines should open up in multiple tabs (or windows if you haven't got single window mode (recommended) enabled).
The same technique can be used to search any category of bookmarks. The example below searches three leading medical information sites:
Let me know in the comments if there's a better way of doing this, add-ons that use Firefox (Mycroft Project) search engines are not an option as they add to clutter and engines are not available for all sites.
PS: I urge you to use this only to download legit stuff... perhaps mayonnaise recipes?
